Charice at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Philippine teen sensation Charice (formerly Charice Pempengco) graced this year's Macy's Thansgiving Day Parade held in New York City.

Charice, who was discovered on YouTube by Ellen Degerenes's staff and consequently invited to perform live on television (other shows followed suit including Oprah), was introduced by Matt Lauer as an "Internet sensation from the Philippines." She sang Celine Dion's hit song, "Because You Love Me." Charice performed in Dion's concert this year.

Charice, who wore a red and white ensemble, sang live on board the Good Housekeeping float. It can be noted that most stars sang lipsynched during the parade including Hanna Montana star Molly Cyrus.
