Sammy and Bently: Friends

Our friend named Bently the dog has been a constant companion to an ailing horse named Sammy. Owners Susan and Rob, our friends, said Bently has been a great friend to Sammy. The companionship proved to be therapeutic to the horse who would play with the dog whenever he visits the stable.

Lilac Festival 2008

David and I went to Rochester's annual Lilac Festival yesterday. He went to the venue Saturday to watch the parade. His friend Richard made a float for one of the ladies who participated in the parade. I had a class at MCC that morning, so I wasn't able to go.

But yesterday after church we went to the venue and inhaled the vibrant fragrance of lilacs. And there were gazillion people who went to the event. Here is the evidence:

And You Think Snow Is Cute

David and I were woken up by strange howling at 5 a.m. There's a snow storm and most schools are closed for the day. Nevertheless I went to school. Thankfully enough David took me downtown to catch the 7:45 a.m. bus that goes to Brockport instead of taking the 7 a.m. bus that takes me downtown.

There was not much snow, only the icey cold air would prevent you from going out of the building. However, it is not pleasant to transfer from one building to another. Here's one of the scenario:

The haziness you will see here indicate the harshness of the wind. Watch the branches of trees sway.

Brrr!

Disney Videos 2

The following videos were taken during the night show at MGM. It featured Mickey and the other Disney characters. I know it's not a great video but use your imagination to get a clear view of the show.

Your favorite Disney characters!

The production used water as screen to show Mickey battling all the Disney villains. Cool stuff.

Fireworks finale.

It was a grand production number complete with acrobatic stunts and musical extravaganza.

Snow Tango

It isn't wonderful when it is snowing hard and you are at school. Adding to the burden was that classes are in separate buildings. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to walk from one building to another when the snow piles up. And sometimes 30 minutes when you walk from the Seymour Union to Drake Library (with all your books and stuff). But we do it because of education.

Here's what I mean:

Video taken from the Student Union. I was on my way to Holmes Hall. This was about 3 p.m.

This video was taken at 5 p.m. My class ended early. I had to go back at Seymour to get my stuff, get to the Tower Fine Arts bldg. at 6:10 and wait for the 6:20 bus. I am one of the few students who doesn't own a car.

Being David Smith

This was taken during our trip to the Thousand Islands (after our trip io Montreal). We were waiting for the boat that will take us on a tour of the famous tourist spot. Pam was with us.

This is my first time to do a video using my camera. This is a real treat.

Vegas Shows

Whenever David travels he makes sure that he is on the go every day. He doesn't want to stay at the hotel, even more at the hotel room.

"You are on a vacation. You need to get out and see the world!" he would say to me.

So, when we were in Vegas we were out seeking every nook and corner of the place. Aside from driving out into the dessert, we went to see shows!

Here's what we saw:

Mamma Mia at the Mandalay Bay:

I love this musical. I wasn't very interested about it at afirst when David asked me if I want to watch the show. He convinced me in the end. Now it is one of my favorite musicals. I love their stage production.

Lately, it has been reported that a movie-musical of Mamma Mia is being brewed with Meryl Streep doing the title role. Sigh, I'll make sure I get the ticket for the film.

Another show that I liked was Mystere by Cirque du Soliel. It was shown at the Treasure Island, the hotel next to where we stayed, Mirage.

This is the show to watch. Never mind if it doesn't have a story. The production was GREAT!

And Lance Burton at The Monte Carlo:

Request granted

There, there, there's the rub. Yeah, I finally shut Paris Hilton's mouth. Good ole Paris did give my blog a zesty and sexy appeal. I finally listened to the people who asked me to turn off the music as they don't know how to turn Miss Hilton's music when they want to watch the videos I attached here. I primarily recommend that you watch this clip. It is called "BOYPREN" (boyfriend).

(Ooops, just a little note: this is not a porn site, even though you see lots of nude stuff here. The pictures posted here were taken during my travels so they're facts and not pictures taken from other websites. Believe me the pictures are tame compared to the other blogs. Sorry to frustrate you guys.)

As of last count this video (posted on YouTube) had 455,668 hits, more than any other popular videos in the Net.

And you might wonder who the boy is. Well, here's a video of himself posted on Youtube. Bravo kevjumba! You and Christine are remarkable talents.

No, I don't know his location.
