Scholarship Woes (and Rejoice!)

Last year I received a medallion and a certificate for a scholarship. This year I will receive none despite the two (and much bigger amount) scholarships I'll be receiving. You figure it out.

But I'll attend the ceremony today, nevertherless.

I attended it because three of my courses (PR class, Journalism Issues and Problems, Newswriting Research) required me to do so. But where's the coffee?

Sammy and Bently: Friends

Our friend named Bently the dog has been a constant companion to an ailing horse named Sammy. Owners Susan and Rob, our friends, said Bently has been a great friend to Sammy. The companionship proved to be therapeutic to the horse who would play with the dog whenever he visits the stable.
