Wine Tasting Tour

It was David's idea for us to go on a break after my week-long work. It was a nice weekend afterall and we didn't want to miss the day by staying at home doing nothing (although I don't mind as I make cards; I could sit all day making them) while the sun is out. To make the day more enciting and meaningful David invited Pam to come with us on a tour.

We headed to Ithaca, New York to see Cornell University and drive around Cornell of course. Along the way we visited several wineries. The first stop was Goose Watch winery near Cayuga Lake. From there the wine tasting began. Wine tasting is affordable at $2 for a sample selection of eight wines. I didn't drink any wine as I am under medication (can't do it for nine months, hu hu hu). Pam likes dry to semi-dry wines while David like the sweet selection (ooops, there goes the glucose levels).

Prepare to meet the goose at Goose Watch winery.

We drive in style of course, in a hummer limo.

Wine and more wine.

Pam: I can drink a gallon of wine in two seconds.
David: I can gulp that in half a second.

Cheers! Here's to Maggie Griffin.

David: Gulp. Gulp. Gulp. Good to the last drop.
Pam: Is mine sugarfree?

After Goose Watch we went to Thirsty Owl for more wine and lunch.

David and I both had the Reuben panini while Pam had a vegetarian sandwich.

After Thirsty Owl we went to Sheldrake Point vineyard and bistro.
David: Is this made in China?

Asian Family Day at the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester, NY

For the last time, I am not Chinese! Many people think I am Chinese (though I have nothing against Chinese people. It's just that I am not Chinese). I am not made in China! Another person thought I am Mexican. Do I look like I just crossed the border? Though I must admit during summer I turn into an Asian. Ha, the sun scorches my skin and my darn little secret is revealed. Anyway, here are some snapshots of what happened during the Asian Family Day held at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY.
